I just ordered my first finfolk full silicone tail. How long does it take for them to get back with you and start the design process?? I also wanted to expedite this but the design page doesn't show shipping. Are they backed up since the new release??

Do any Finfolk tails have a metallic/pearlescent shine in and out of the water? I noticed that the gold they use seems to have a metallic shine, but I was wondering about a full tail (not all gold) that they have created that has a lot of shine? I saw a 2013 Finfolk tail in person and it had a very slight shine when viewed in direct sunlight but I am talking about something really shiny (but not glittery). From a similar qn I asked them previously they did mention that they have iridescent pigments. Hope that answers your qn

No updates for me since September 2016. Last we were in touch, they said they are working on my mock-up/design. I assume they got busy with other projects which I guessed correctly after the reveal of the new affordable tails and their trip to Mexico! Hopefully they'll get back orders soon! I'm ready to swim in my FF tail!

Thanks for the update on your side Badkidbebe. I started to get worried when they replied my FB comment that they were looking at Basecamp the past few days but could have missed mine and would get back to me tt day when I commented but have yet to hear from them. I hope they start focusing on us once the website is relaunched. I too am SO ready to swim in my FF tail!! Waiting is no fun haha!

So, the new tails have a neoprene base with resin sequins modeled after their own scales! It's like one of Hannah's tails. I'm really excited about them. I'm not quite ready to preorder one, but my birthday is in the summer, so I think I know what to ask for!

For the Mythic line they're using the shooter and saying they've used it in their full silicone tails before. Does anyone know if they have done any previous tails with the shooter? I thought it was just the trainer and competitor?
