Finfolk Productions: anyone ordered a tail from them? I just did!

Hey all just a FYI in case anyone missed it and is considering buying a Mythic tail - the prices currently offered for these tails ($699) is a presale special only and will be going up to thier regular price of $799 soon. So if you want to get it at the lower price you need to order soon!

Here is the Facebook comment from Fin folk that confirms this.
"Once presale is over, regular prices will be $799 for the non-finned tail, and $1050 for the finned tail. Once these tails are in stock they will be available for SAME DAY or next day shipping"

Yeah this is a rare chance!

For those of you really wanting this tail but you don't have the money saved up yet you could still probably make a bunch of crafts and sell them to help raise some money. Or babysit, petsit, do yard work for someone (my fave thing cause I don't like inside chores) etc. Around now is when people will be starting to think about buying presents for Christmas and they might be more likely to buy something handmade - or at least I like handmade items more since it is more unique and less likely the person has that item.

Also you can always ask your friends and relatives to give you money for your tail fund instead of a Xmas present, and you will have the amount you need in no time!

Finfolk is having a Black Friday sale and will be releasing and unknown new color of their Mythic line. My guess is purple or orange!

I'm guessing purple since it's the only legging color that doesn't correspond to a tail yet.

Do any Finfolk tails have a metallic/pearlescent shine in and out of the water? I noticed that the gold they use seems to have a metallic shine, but I was wondering about a full tail (not all gold) that they have created that has a lot of shine? I saw a 2013 Finfolk tail in person and it had a very slight shine when viewed in direct sunlight but I am talking about something really shiny (but not glittery). I wonder if they would make your tail more metallic/pearl if you asked?

I work with this mer as well as own a Finfolk with quite a bit of gold on it! Neither of the tails are inherently shiny when dry, so we oft mist our tails with water throughout a shift to keep the sparkles looking top notch.

That is very neat that you mist your tails to keep them sparkling. I am sure it also helps ad to the 'real mermaid' aspect since it looks like you are trying to keep from drying out.
