That's so cool! I was thinking I really wanted to make a spotted seal tail...I wonder if there's a way to add a fuzzy finish to the tail that looks sleek underwater
If you want a fuzzy look dry and smooth/sleek in the water, you'll need to use crushed velvet![]()

most of my fabric tails are made in crushed velvet and kids say the feel and look like seal/dolphin skin (wet and even dry)![]()
