Finfolk Productions: anyone ordered a tail from them? I just did!

I'm so mesmerized by the new iridescent mythic! I've been searching for a color shift gold for my tail project but they mainly shift golds to pinks. That shift from gold to white is exactly what I want!

The new Mythic tease looks so amazing that I'm starting to consider getting one despite some of the reservations I have about them. They're expected to ship around my production month though so we'll see. I sort of need a new phone first and I'd rather wait for them to roll out more kinks

I know everyone's raving about the new pigment color changes, but I'm not sure if I'd want that on my tail, mostly because I still don't have a clear design yet. i only have bits and pieces of it, but it is sort of coming along? I'm honestly glad I have the wait so I can sort out what I really want on it x)

It was originally last Nov. I have yet to hear back from the twins about a confirmed production month however the Body Pour was ticked off from the To-do list in Mar 22.

Oh nice about the checkmark. Mine's around June/July, which is when the Mythics ship out.

Oh shoot that's in three months possibly 0_0 omg now i'm freaking out about that

EK I know! I've been playing with templates, I've been more concerned with structure rather than design. But lately I've been trying to color my templates. I do have a fish I want to primarily base it off of since it has most of the colors I want.

I feel like with what tidbits I throw at them, they'll make it come to life in a much more loveable way than I could come up with (if that makes sense)

I thought so, but after the Perth mermaid's customs, I'm back to debating. I originally wanted the Lotus but after finding more of the Calypso (before the new mold) I wanted that one. Thought about getting a customized fluke, but the price and the possibility of sharing put me off (stupid I know, but that's me). Now I'm re-debating about new Calypso (which grew on me) or custom.

I like pocket fins for mine. What's the issue of yours? Just worried about pulling them out?

That's so amazing!

I like how their fins match their heel fins, the uniformity just pulls it all together in my opinion. Their new tails are just going to be so beautiful <3

Yes yes yes!!!! I'm actually so glad I wait this long bc their talent has grown and I also asked if they can do iridescent color changing paint on my tail! I know they did it on the Mythic tail fluke so I hope it can be done on a full silicone tail!

I tried to get a mtyhic, logged on at 11am my time, and at 11:03 when I was checking out, it was declined because they were sold out. I back tracked and tried to grab another color- sold out lol. they sold out of all their regular sizes in under 10 minutes.

Haha, it's like trying to get Comic Con tickets. It's just too painful. At least when they release the bigger batch, it'll be easier to obtain one. Hopefully at least.

I have loads of dry gigs this summer and felt it would be perfect for it. but sounds like by the time they take orders for the next batch it'll be mid busy season and I don't think they'll ship right away so I'll be into my slow season once they do. May not be worth it business wise for me by then.

Oh that's a bummer. I would be worried about using those tails as dry events though cause of the scales. Maybe if someone gets the wrong size, you might be able to score one of those? <3
