I've been wanting to make a top out of polished abalone ever since I found out ones that large existed! That was the day Raven bought and posted the red abalone that she bought (holy crap that was over 2 years ago now O_o time flies), and have had the shells to make this top for months haha :P So I am SO happy I finally took the plunge and made it already!
