These are actually from a kid's party, but I have been teaching Sean photography and I just can't express how far he's come so I thought they kinda count as photoshoot too... haha

Moongazer, I don't have shots on my website of just the tail, though there are close-ups of the scale textures on there. Thanks, it's much more pearly in real life.. maybe I just need more light to display the shimmer better.
Haha, hi Dottie. My scales are smaller than most mermaid tails I've seen here, yes. The larger scales from my waist to my knees are each about the size of an almond. The smaller, from knees to fluke are the size of my pinky fingernail. I wanted a natural flow to them, like on the bettas and goldfish I'd been studying.
