Now i'm laying awake at night becouse I want to make an unboxing video xD
I don't know how to film when I'm unboxing. And I'm afraid to ask my parents couse they can't handle a camera *help*

You could use a tripod to put your camera on top and film that way.

I use to get set my camera on the edge on somethin like a box or the desk or stack of books.... then i turn it on and take a few photos and figure out my positioning in front of the lense. Or i'll line things up in the corners of where my camers is viewing. Then i just stay between that stuff. Sometimes i will only use two corners so there isn't lots of stuff in my background.

The unfortunate thing is that although the tail is ready to ship, I'm going back to the mainland for a month, so the tail will be at my house for 2 weeks, and I won't be able to open it and try it on. :-I Which is fair, can't have too much awesomeness all at once, seems fair to make me wait a little bit, so pictures and video galore will pry be up starting Sept 1. So excited. Ariel, I'm so glad your getting your tail back, and Emma, yay your bracers, I know you've been waiting for those for a while. Life is good. Let's swim!

Oh and I suck at editing video's etc... It will be my first time using iMovie xD anny suggestions? Or some easy apps on the web?

The waiting will make it more awsome at the time you are opening your tail ^^ <3 And I'm not having my tail 'back'. There where some issues with the colors and seams, so I had to wait longer and now it's finished! So i will see my tail in real life for the first time <3

ariel what kinda camera would you be filming with? Camera phone or a point-and-shoot camera with a video setting? If it's the latter check online for small tripods or if you can afford it buy a gorillapod - they will balance on or cling to anything around you (they're bendy flexible legs made up of a series of balls)

if not just ask a friend or parent to hold it and get them to hold it still. People are understanding either way about videos =)

an unboxing vid shouldn't take too much editing but if it does imovie is okkkkaaaayyy if you have no experience but it drives me mad. If needs be PM me and I'll link you to my dropbox and I'll help you edit the video =)

I'd argue, French Merman, that it is at least deceitful and disorganized and distracting. People come to this thread to learn about Merbellas. They want to go to the MVD thread to learn about MVD. They go to the Show Us Your Tails thread to see the tails people actually have.

Since you posted that tail on here, now people are going to go to Merbellas for tails like that one, because how many people do you think get to page 77 of this thread and read everything that was said before (to paraphrase Ursula, it's sad, but true). And how many of them are NOT going to go to MVD now for that tail since you posted it here? You're drawing attention and activity to Merbellas and taking it from MVD, in an effort to get brief attention.

So yeah, it is a beautiful tail, and you can say a lot about it, but this particular thread is not the place for it.

you are totally right, i haven't thought about that so by respect for Raven and the admins, i deleted my previous posts and i will move them to the MVD Thread.

That's okay, i think that he was right.
Although my intentions were good, i shouldn't have put the image of the tail from MDV here.
This thread is for everything related to Merbellas Studio so i admit that my action was wrong and i moved my post to the MDV Thread where it belongs.
