Aziara, I love Jules Verne, I think I have read "In 80 days around the world" surely 100 times! I think a great deal of my inspiration for accessoires and tail derived from my love to old british jewellery (so you're right with Jules Verne) and fantasy art works with dragon elements!

Oh my goodness you guys, YOU GUYS. So a professional photographer contacted me on my fb page the other day. And she said she wants to do a photoshoot with me for free, as long as she can put a small watermark on them!!! Which I think I already mentioned above, but now it's official! When she comes back in town this Saturday we will be figuring out a day to schedule it! She's pretty popular where I live, and really good! She has 5k likes on fb! Anyways the location we are going to is what I'm most excited for. I've never been even though it's actually really close, for some reason I've never known about it til now lol! So yesterday I had my first dry photoshoot with one of my mers in training! It was my only chance to showcase both of my tails and boy was it hot outside! (Of course my friend said she's already made a Mernetwork account but she refuses to tell me the username so I don't know if she's joking around or not.
All of these photos are unedited. I'm wearing my second tail which uses a modified Mahina Merfin and Mermaid Noelle is showcasing my first tail (which is now retired) which has a pair of fins strapped together.

While we were prepping my boss took a few candid photos. My favorite is this one:

After makeup was applied we donned our tails and began posing! It was a new experience for all of us because we'd never posed in tails before and my boss had never taken photos of mermaids before.

So my FinFun tails arrived just in time for our beach trip. (I ordered them not thinking they would come in time, but was so excited that they did). I did two photoshoots of my daughter over the last 3 days..and it was a challenge for sure. It is not easy to do a shoot alone and at the end a huge wave came and washed over everything and all my props..LOL. But the photos are so good. I really had to narrow it down to these to post ;). These new finfun tails photograph so nicely. I made the crown and tops.

Not sure if you can make it out against the mountains, but there's a little island out there with a castle on it! I'm really hoping to be able to do something as a mermaid there eventually.
